Centrifugal glass wool is a silk-like material made by fiberization of melted glass and then coating with thermosetting resin through centrifugal blowing process. By means of thermal setting, this material can be further processed into series of products for multiple purposes. It features numerous advantages: it is noncombustible, nontoxic, and resistant to corrosion; it has low weight by volume, low thermal conductivity, stable chemical property, low moisture rate and good hydrophobicity. It is to date a well-recognized heat preservation, thermal insulation and sound absorption material with excellent properties. It has found wide applications. The board and blanket products made of this material have been used in heat preservation, thermal insulation and sound absorption in construction, chemical industry, electronic industry, electric power, metallurgy, energy industry and communication, presenting very good result.
Adapting the advanced centrifugal blowing process, the Huamei Company produces glass wool blanket rolls that is soft, fine, waterproof and fireproof with good rebound elasticity (veneering like reinforced aluminum foil can be applied), providing an ideal heat preservation and sound absorption material for steel structure constructions. The boards produced with Huamei glass wool by formation through curing by applying pressure and heating after applying thermosetting cement are suitable for use in heat preservation and sound insulation in air ducts of different size of air conditioners and other equipment. Veneering like aluminum foil can be applied to the surface. The boards preserve heat efficiently, absorb vibration and sound. They are light in weight, resistant to fire.

To meet the demand of the customers, we have developed the air-conditioning board designed for use in the air ducts of air conditioners.
Refractory glass wool made of special raw materials with special processing technology, available in boards of felt in rolls. It is widely used in the heat preservation, thermal insulation and noise reduction for high temperature mediums such as boilers, reaction vessels, shells of tank, piping etc. in power plant, chemical industry and pharmaceutical industry.
First, weld pins to the surface of the equipment in advance and then tie the refractory glass wool over the surface of the equipment. If temperature of the equipment is above 250℃, it is recommendable to adopt double-layer heat preservation method. Make sure that the seams of the outer and inner layers of glass wool are staggered to avoid heat loss due to the heat bridge formed. If temperature of the equipment exceeds 400℃, it is recommendable to use aluminum silicate for the inner layer and refractory glass wool for the outer layer, also staggering their seams. Finally, wrap the outer cover layer which serves both as protection to the glass wool and decoration.
